What Should Religion Be?

The word religion is translated from Latin as Mergence with God or Path to such Mergence.

There are many specific forms of religion, including some that are massive and absurd at the same time. But criticizing them is beyond the scope of this article.

So, how can we ourselves understand this multitude of religious beliefs, without getting lost in it?

* * *

The first and most important characteristic of true religion is the possession of knowledge of God as the Goal of our efforts. This knowledge should be based not on fairy tales for children and feeble-minded adults, but on the personal experience of cognizing God by serious spiritual seekers and on the information that God Himself communicates to incarnate people.

Only if such information exists, does it become possible to practically outline and then master the Path to the Creator. A “ladder” should be built of the steps of spiritual transformation and the gradual approach of oneself to Him by the qualities of the soul.

That is, the first step on the spiritual Path is the acquisition of knowledge about God and the Path to Him. This is called the Methodology of Spiritual Development. For the first time in visible history, such an integration of all available positive knowledge was carried out by us — a group of Russian scientists who have devoted their lives to the study of this topic and the popularization of it.

The second step is to study and apply to ourselves the ethical principles offered to us by God. The beginning of repentant work on oneself is fundamentally important at this stage, and this work continues up to the highest stages of the Path. But we must not allow this repentant work to become such an intense form of self-chastisement that it leads ourselves into a nightmare of despair and a sense of hopelessness.

Let me emphasize that one of the main mistakes common to many people is the false belief that we have the right to kill innocent animals for the sake of eating their bodies, using their skins, etc.

Also, one of the widespread vices is violence, which manifests itself in different ways, including jealousy.

Violence is one of the manifestations of egocentrism.

On the next step, one must put in order the energy of the body and, at the same time, get rid of many diseases through this work. From a body, polluted by coarse energies, there is no way to perceive the One Who dwells in the subtlest spatial dimensions (eons, layers of multidimensionality), nor can one even enter them. And these subtlest spatial dimensions are the Abode of God in the aspects of the Creator and the Holy Spirits.

At this stage of development, it is necessary not only to cleanse and properly develop all the chakras, but also to form dantians and “bubbles of perception”.

And the development of the spiritual heart (so long as this success is not lost) is a guarantee of paradise after the end of this incarnation.

And then, a stage of great meditative work in wildlife can be begun: for example, at places of power — under the spring singing of birds and the gentle rays of the sun. This leads to personal cognition of God and the achievement of that level of personal development when we learn to flow into Him and then act from this Mergence with Him.

One of the most successful options for such work is meditation on the banks of large reservoirs, where there is an opportunity to widely spread as a consciousness in the vastness. The Holy Spirits emanating from the Abode of the Creator can be easily perceived in such places. We can hug, merge, and talk with Them. They become daily personal Divine Teachers for each of such successful spiritual devotees.

The main component of working on oneself at this stage is the development of oneself as a spiritual heart.

In particular, the devotee acquires the ability to be the “Sun of God” and “burn” his or her material body from within with the Divine Fire.

And the peak of achievements on the spiritual Path is the ability to control matter, which is demonstrated to us by Divine Miracle Workers.

You can become familiar with all this in detail in our books and films.

I would specially emphasize that people with still poorly developed intellectual abilities and those who have unaddressed ethical vices should not be involved in the upper stages of this Path. From a certain stage of the Path, they, having lost understanding of the Path, suddenly become enemies, carried away by such pseudo-religious tomfoolery as “urinotherapy” or jumping over campfires for alleged bioenergy purification…

My experience in teaching spiritual knowledge for decades (at present, I no longer teach: my body is almost 75 years old) has led me to the conclusion that it is very dangerous to give people the knowledge that they have not yet matured to accommodate with their minds. In such cases, they are “dragged” to those stages of spiritual ascent, at which they are not yet able to hold on. It makes sense to teach only up to the level of “opening” the spiritual heart.

Further information about the next steps of spiritual development and how to master them on one's own, can be found in the materials we have published. Thanks to this approach (an individual, independent practice), one’s development will not deviate from its natural pace.
