Essays on the Main/About Geomagnetic Storms About Geomagnetic StormsI will not retell in detail what has been written by astrophysicists on this subject, but I will draw attention to something little known. Geomagnetic storms occur on our planet when streams of “solar wind”, comprised of coronal mass, ejected from explosions on the Sun, reach the Earth. It is such contact that causes the beautiful and impressive colored auroras in the sky at night. * * * Such explosions on the Sun can be seen through telescopes on the Earth — with some delay: due to the fact that the light information must also have time to fly a very long distance from the Sun to Earth. And then our planet is reached — after a few Earth days — by streams of elementary particles and energies, ejected by solar explosions. Their speed of flight is less than the speed of light; this allows physicists to calculate the timing of geomagnetic storms coming to the Earth. Forecasts of such storms can now be found on the internet. Geomagnetic storms affect our health. But here is what it makes sense to pay attention to: changes in health usually occur about a day earlier than physicists point out. That is, physicists do not know all the components of the “solar wind” streaming from the Sun. Most often, when talking about geomagnetic storms, people associate their own lethargy, drowsiness, and irritability with them. But, in fact, the variety of arising states is much wider. Moreover, these states are not always negative. For example, an increased businesslike attitude may arise — up to insomnia at night and with significant successes in intellectual work. Or, all earthlings are suddenly offered a feeling of falling in love with everyone and everything, including God. People feel geomagnetic storms in different ways. Some do not feel them at all. Others feel them vividly — and learn from God through them. God “loads” the streams of the “solar wind” with the qualities and states that we need. * * * We have to accept God in our worldview! We must accept Him as the Highest Teacher and the Highest Goal of our cognition! Then, we will understand that it is He Who teaches us, inter alia, by submerging us into certain states during geomagnetic storms. This is, among other things, one of His ways of testing us on our ethical consistency. Such tests can be about: — the openness of the spiritual heart — or, on the contrary, the oppression of its function with the loss of the emotions of heart love, — emotions from such vices as jealousy, aggressiveness, violence, deceitfulness, the ability to ignore another’s pain by inflicting it, and even enjoying it, — temporal activations — or weakening of the intellectual function, — feelings of joy in life — or, conversely, thoughts of suicide… And so on. By putting us into these varying states, God expects us — from them — to look at ourselves once again: am I right? And whether is, what I am experiencing right now, a corrupted state? Is there heartfelt love in me? Is there unrighteous joy in me that has arisen from vain worldly pleasures or from pride and vanity? This is how, among other ways, we gradually learn to understand God.
