Essays on the Main/Conflict-freeness Conflict-freenessWhat is the meaning of the Commandments of Jesus Christ that one should not enter into a fight against a criminal who has attacked you, and that it would be better to give the evil person more than the property that he requires, etc.? For example: “…But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.” (Matt 5:38-41). “… And if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.” (Luke 6:30). “… Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul!” (Matt 10:28). “… Do not condemn!…” (Luke 6:37). With these words, Jesus called us to master conflict-freeness — as a property of the soul: let there always be good-hearted silence inside us, illuminated by love, — but not anger, malice, resentment, or a desire for revenge… By strengthening ourselves in the first of these listed emotions, we direct ourselves to paradise, and by letting the latter in ourselves — to hell. In other words, briefly, Jesus offered us: DO NOT DISTRACT from the realization of the meaning of your lives on the Earth: approaching spiritual Perfection and Merging with the Creator! Strive to become perfect, “like perfect is your Heavenly Father!” (Mt 5:48). But who among those who consider themselves Christians, follow these Commandments of Christ? And can those who ignore the Teachings of God, communicated to us through the Feat of Jesus Christ, call themselves Christians? … Jesus says: “I wanted to teach people about righteousness — in the understanding of this by God… But people do not want this!”… * * * I have gone through my entire adult life, following these principles. I believe that I have lived all these decades successfully: I have helped many others, and I myself have made significant progress along the spiritual Path. If I lived differently, none of this would have come of it. But I understand that the Teachings of Jesus Christ cannot be accepted by many people — for various reasons, including their evolutionary age and the vices that have permeated them, as souls. This is their right. But just let them beware of calling themselves Christians! One must grow to the state of a true Christian by studying the Teachings of God and following them!
